(Chicago, IL) - Tyler Flowers hit a two-run home run in the bottom of the seventh inning, and then the rains hit as the Chicago White Sox collected a weather-shortened 4-3 victory over the Seattle Mariners.
Kevin Youkilis gave the Sox a 2-1 lead with an R-I triple in the third, but Casper Wells gave the Mariners a 3-2 lead when he hit a two-run homer off reliever Hector Santiago in the fifth.
Flowers hit his eventual game-winner off Seattle starter Kevin Millwood, who gave up another single before being removed for reliever Lucas Luetge.
Luetge gave up a single to Dewayne Wise and was being lifted for Stephen Pryor when play was halted due to rain.
The game was called after a lengthy delay.
The White Sox complete a three-game series sweep and extend their winning streak to six games.
Chicago maintains a two and-a-half-game lead over Detroit in the AL Central as the Tigers won at home against the Angels.
