(Cleveland, OH) - The second-longest losing streak in the history of the Cleveland Indians is over as the Indians beat the Minnesota Twins 6-2 to halt their eleven-game skid.
Justin Masterson pitched seven innings, allowing a two-run home run to Alexi Casilla in the fifth.
It was one of three hits Masterson allowed in improving to 8-10 on the season.
Shin-Soo Choo went 4-for-4 and drove in a pair of runs with Carlos Santana and Asdrubal Cabrera adding R-B-I singles.
Twins starter Brian Duensing went seven, giving up four earned runs on eleven hits as he drops to 2-7.
