(Cleveland, OH) - Brett Anderson and two relievers combined on a two-hit shutout as the Oakland Athletics blanked the Cleveland Indians 3-0.
Anderson went seven innings, allowing two hits in moving to 2-and-0 on the season.
Anderson has missed much of the season as he returns from Tommy John surgery.
Seth Smith gave Oakland the early lead with a sacrifice fly in the first inning.
Josh Reddick hit a solo home run off Cleveland starter Roberto Hernandez in the second and Chris Carter drove in the third A's run with a single in the third.
Hernandez lasted just two and a third innings before leaving the game with a sprained right ankle.
Oakland has won three games in a row.
