(Chicago, IL) A-J Pierzynski hit a go-ahead two-run home run in the seventh inning as the Chicago White Sox edged the Los Angeles Angels 4-2.
Mike Trout gave the Angels a 1-0 lead in the fifth inning with a sacrifice fly. Kevin Youkilis tied the game in the sixth with a solo home run of Los Angeles starter Dan Haren.
Torii Hunter put the Angels back out in front with an RBI single in the seventh before Pierzynski put the Sox ahead to stay with his two-run shot off Jerome Williams.
Alexei Ramirez added an insurance run for Chicago with an RBI triple in the eighth.
