(St. Louis, MO) - Marco Scutaro hit a grand slam and drove in seven runs as the San Francisco Giants blew out the St. Louis Cardinals 15-0.
Ryan Vogelsong, George Kontos and Jose Mijares combined on the four-hit shutout with Vogelsong allowing three hits in his seven innings of work to move to 10-5.
The Giants put the game out of reach in the sixth, scoring five times to take a 7-0 lead.
They scored four runs in both the eighth and the ninth innings with Scutaro's slam off Mitchell Boggs in the ninth capping the blow out.
St. Louis starter Joe Kelly allowed seven runs, only four earned, in his five innings of work as he drops to 2-5.
