(Chicago, IL) - Kevin Youkilis hit a go-ahead grand slam in the fifth inning as the Chicago White Sox overpowered the New York Yankees 7-3.
Paul Konerko had tied the game at two with a solo homer in the fourth, leading to Youkilis' eventual game-winner off Yankees starter Ivan Nova the following inning.
Derek Jeter and Russell Martin hit solo shots for New York.
Sox starter Francisco Liriano allowed two runs over six innings to move to 5-10 on the season while Nova takes the loss to drop to 11-7.
With the win, Chicago remains two games ahead of Detroit in the AL Central as the Tigers won at home against Toronto.
