(Indianapolis, IN) - The Indianapolis Colts players have the day off and will return to the practice field on Wednesday to begin preparing for Sunday afternoon’s game with the Jacksonville Jaguars.
The Colts are coming off a last-second 23-20 win over the Minnesota Vikings which evened their record at 1-1.
The Jaguars are coming off a 27-7 loss at home to Houston as they are off to an 0-2 start.
Indianapolis leads the all-time series 15-7 but Jacksonville swept both games from the Colts last season.
It was the first time the Jags have swept the season series from the Colts.
The Colts are still awaiting the results of an MRI on center Samson Satele's injured left knee.
Head coach Chuck Pagano says Satele has some soreness and stiffness in the knee, but that the initial examination was positive.
Other than Satele, the Horseshoes got through Sunday's win over the Vikings with some minor bumps and bruises.
Pagano expects to know more about starters Dwight Freeney, Austin Collie, Joe Reitz and Winston Justice later in the week. All four are listed as "day-to-day".
Collie and Reitz have yet to play during the regular season while Freeney and Justice were hurt in the Week One loss at Chicago.
