(UNDATED) - In college football, the Indiana Hoosiers open the Big Ten portion of their schedule against the Northwestern Wildcats.
Indiana is 2-1 this season and defeated the Ball State Cardinals two weeks ago in Bloomington.
Northwestern is 4-0 in 2012 and will put their undefeated home record on-the-line tomorrow at Ryan Field. Hoosier quarterback Tre Roberson has a broken leg and will continue to be relieved by Cameron Coffman.
The JUCO transfer suffered a hip pointer two weeks ago against Ball State but is expected to make the start against the Wildcats.
The Hoosiers will need to contain Northwestern's rushing attack, which amassed 293 yards on 60 carries last week against South Dakota.
The Purdue Boilermakers will host the Marshall Thundering Herd tomorrow at Ross-Ade Stadium. Purdue is 2-1 and is led by a defense that's held opponents to a fourteen points-per-game average this season.
Marshall plays an incredibly up-tempo offense, leading the NCAA with a 93 play-per-game average.
The 3-1 Ball State Cardinals are at the 2-and-1 Kent State Golden Flashes.
The tenth ranked Notre Dame Fighting Irish are off this weekend and will play the 3-1 Miami Hurricanes on October 6th.
