(Chicago, IL) - The Chicago White Sox move back into first place in the AL Central with their 4-2 win over the Minnesota Twins.
Gordon Beckham put the Sox up 2-0 with a two-run homer off Twins starter Samuel Deduno in the second inning.
Beckham would add an RBI single in the eighth, driving in three of Chicago's four runs. Paul Konerko drove in the other White Sox run with a single in the seventh.
Jamey Carroll drove home Minnesota's first run with his first home run of the season, a solo shot off starter Hector Santiago in the fifth.
Justin Morneau would add an RBI single in the eighth. Santiago went five innings, giving up a run on three hits to improve to 3-1.
Deduno gets the loss to fall to 5-3.
The Sox snap a four-game losing streak and the win combined with Detroit's loss to Cleveland puts Chicago a game ahead of the Tigers in the Central.
