(Indianapolis, IN) - The Indianapolis Colts evened their record at 3-3 with a gritty 17-13 win over the Cleveland Browns at Lucas Oil Stadium.
The performance was in the style mentored by head coach Chuck Pagano, who was released from the hospital just hours before the win after undergoing his first round of treatment for Leukemia.
The Colts found their running game for the first time this season, combing for 148 yards on the afternoon that included two touchdown runs by Andrew Luck.
The Colts defense returned from last weekend's 252 yard gashing at the hands of the Jets to stuff Cleveland runners for 55 yards on 17 carries.
Luck finished with 186 yards passing, two touchdown runs, and a turnover from a sack-fumble in the fourth quarter.
Ballard ran for 84 yards on 20 carries and Delone Carter had 41 yards on 11 tries.
The Browns fall to 1-and-6 and host the Chargers Sunday.
The Colts are 3-3 and have an AFC South matchup next against the 3-4 Tennessee Titans.
