(Bloomington, IN) - Cody Zeller had 20 points and eight rebounds for the Indiana Hoosiers in a stunning 83-59 win over the 13th ranked North Carolina Tar Heels at Assembly Hall.
Zeller also had four blocks in the Big Ten-ACC Challenge match up and fueled a defensive effort that held North Carolina to 1 of 20 shooting to open the second half.
Zeller and Victor Oladipo keyed a 13-0 run to start the second that gave the top-ranked Hoosiers a 59-37 lead that North Carolina never recovered from.
Oladipo finished with 19 points and Will Sheehey went 3-4 behind the 3-point arc and also finished with 19.
North Carolina is 5-2 on the season and face the Alabama-Birmingham Blazers Saturday.
The Hoosiers are 7-0 and host the 1-4 Coppin State Eagles Saturday in Bloomington.
