(Indianapolis, IN) - The Indianapolis Colts will try for their sixth win in seven games Sunday when they face the 4-7 Detroit Lions at the Ford Center.
The Colts have taken on the surprising role of playoff contenders following a two win season in 2011 and whole sale changes on the roster and front office.
The team boosted their record to 7-4 after last weekend's 20-to-13 win over the Buffalo Bills, and have a one game lead on the Pittsburgh Steelers and Cincinnati Bengals for the top wildcard position.
The Lions are just one season removed from ending a decade long playoff drought and were defeated in their last two games by a total of seven points, most recently a 34-31 overtime loss to the AFC South leading Houston Texans.
The Colts lineup will get a boost from the return of tight end Coby Fleener, who has missed four games with an injury to his shoulder.
Fleener went full speed at practice this week and should reunite with his former Stanford teammate in the starting lineup. The Colts and Lions play Sunday at Ford Field.
Kickoff is at 1:00.
