(Brooklyn, NY) - In college basketball, the Indiana Hoosiers pulled away in overtime to outlast the Georgetown Hoyas 82-to-72 in the Legends Classic Final in Brooklyn, New York.
Yogi Farrell scored seven points in overtime, including a 3-pointer that clinched the game for the top-ranked Hoosiers with a minute to go in the extra period.
Cody Zeller was late on a go-ahead layup at the end of regulation that would have given the 5-and-0 Hoosiers a two point victory, but recovered to finish with 17 points and eight rebounds for the tournament champions.
Indiana's 10-of-17 3-point shooting was an improvement over Monday night's semi-final matchup against the Georgia Bulldogs, when the normally sharpshooting Hoosiers made just 31 percent of their 3-point shots.
The Hoosiers will get a short break before hosting the Ball State Cardinals Sunday.
