(West Lafayette, IN) - Terone Johnson had 16 points and 7 rebounds as the Purdue Boilermakers took care of the Lamar Cardinals 72-39 at Mackey Arena.
The Boilermakers evened their record at 4-4 after building a 19 point halftime lead against their Southland Conference opponent.
A-J Hammons had 13 points and five rebounds and Anthony Johnson added 16 points for Purdue, who travel to the 5-2 Eastern Michigan Eagles Saturday.
Lamar are coached by Pat Knight, son of former Indiana Hoosiers basketball coach, Bobby Knight, and will not play a home game until December 29th.
