(Indianapolis, IN) - The Indianapolis Colts have the day off before resuming preparations for Sunday’s game at the 11-2 Houston Texans.
The Colts are 9-4 on-the-season and need one more win to clinch a birth in the AFC wildcard round.
They also retain a fraction of a chance at stealing the division title away from the Texans.
The Colts challenge Houston twice before the regular season concludes and play an away game against the 2-11 Kansas City Chiefs on December 23rd.
The Texans were annihilated 42-14 by the New England Patriots last night and will play the Minnesota Vikings in between their two games against the Colts.
Houston would have to lose out and the Colts would have to win their remaining three games if Indianapolis were to reclaim the AFC South championship.
The Colts and Texans kickoff from Reliant Stadium at 1:00 Sunday.
