(UNDATED) - The Indiana Hoosiers tumbled five spots in the USA Today-Coaches Poll following Saturday’s 88-86 overtime loss to the Butler Bulldogs in the Crossroads Classic.
The Hoosiers fell to number-six in the poll after carrying the number-one ranking through five weeks of the regular season.
The Duke Blue Devils are the new top team in the nation after receiving 30 first place votes from the coaches.
The Notre Dame Fighting Irish were not rewarded for their 81-68 win over the Purdue Boilermakers Saturday and maintained their number-22 ranking.
Butler entered the polls for the first time this season as the 25th ranked team in the nation after beating Indiana Saturday.
