(Indianapolis, IN) The Indiana Pacers will play their first game in six days when the 11-18 Phoenix Suns visit Bankers Life Fieldhouse tonight.
Indiana had an unexpected day off this week after their home contest against the Chicago Bulls Wednesday was postponed because of blizzard like conditions.
Both teams got word of the postponement just two and-a-half hours before the 7:00 tipoff.
The game will be rescheduled and tickets already purchased will be honored on that date.
The Pacers are 16-12 overall and have won six of their last seven games.
They hold a half game lead on Chicago for first place in the Central Division and can win a season high fourth straight game against the Suns tonight.
Guard Gerald Green is a game time decision after missing Saturday's contest against New Orleans with a sprained left ankle.
Green has combined for 35 points in his last two games off the bench after averaging just over seven points-per-contest this season.
Jermaine O'Neal will make his return to Indianapolis in a Suns uniform after the former first round pick left the Pacers in 2007.
O'Neal spent eight seasons with Indiana and is averaging seven points and 4.5 rebounds per game off the bench.
The Suns are hoping their recent dominance over Indiana will help the team snap a three game losing streak, including a two point home loss to the New York Knicks Wednesday.
The Suns have won four straight against Indiana, including a 113-111 victory in the only meeting between the two teams last season.
Tipoff tonight is at 7:00.
