(Indianapolis, IN) - Kansas City Chiefs Head Coach Romeo Crennel has named Brady Quinn the starting quarterback for their contest against the Indianapolis Colts this weekend at Arrowhead Stadium.
Crennel benched starting quarterback Matt Cassel in favor of the former Notre Dame All-American earlier in the season to kick-start the Chiefs offense and limit turnovers.
Quinn had sore ribs following Sunday's 15-0 loss to the Oakland Raiders but was a full-go at practice yesterday and will start against the Colts.
Safety Tom Zbikowski was limited in his practice reps after missing two games with a knee injury and is questionable for Sunday's game at Arrowhead Stadium.
Tackle Winston Justice also returned to practice after missing last week's 29-17 loss against the Houston Texans with an injury to his bicep.
Both centers for the Colts were held out of practice yesterday, Samson Satele with an ankle injury and AQ Shipley with an injured knee.
The 9-4 Colts need to one win in their final two games to clinch a playoff birth.
Kickoff Sunday against the 2-12 Chiefs is at 1:00.
