(Bloomington, IN) - The Wisconsin Badgers made it five consecutive wins in Bloomington by upsetting the second-ranked Indiana Hoosiers, 64-59 last night at Assembly Hall.
The Hoosiers produced their lowest point total of the season and were unable to overcome a deliberate Wisconsin team that committed just eight turnovers on the evening.
The Hoosiers trimmed a ten point deficit in the second half and trailed 52-51 with just under five minutes to play in the game, but Wisconsin closed out on a 12-8 run to secure their second win against a ranked opponent in a matter of days.
Cody Zeller had 18 of his 23 points in the first half and Christian Watford scored 11 for the Hoosiers.
The Badgers made it 11 straight wins against Indiana in taking sole possession of first place in the Big Ten Conference with a 4-0 record.
Wisconsin is 13-4 overall and travel to the Iowa Hawkeyes Saturday.
Indiana is 15-2 overall, 3-1 in the Big Ten conference, and play at the Northwestern Wildcats Sunday.
