(Indianapolis, IN) - The Indianapolis Colts have filled the coaching vacancy left by former offensive line coach, Harold Goodwin, by promoting Joe Gilbert as the chief coordinator of Andrew Luck’s pass protection.
Gilbert served as assistant offensive line coach for the Colts last season, and takes the job after Goodwin departed Indianapolis to become the offensive coordinator for the Arizona Cardinals.
Gilbert is entering his second season of coaching in the NFL, and has 25 years of previous coaching experience at the collegiate level.
Goodwin was hired by the Cardinals several days ago after former Colts offensive coordinator, Bruce Arians, left the team to become head coach in Arizona.
