(Chicago, IL) - The Chicago Cubs introduced pitcher Edwin Jackson as the newest member of the starting rotation at a news conference yesterday.
The 29-year-old right hander signed a four year, 52 million dollar contract after going 10-11 with the Washington Nationals last season.
Jackson pitched for the Chicago White Sox and St. Louis Cardinals in 2011 and joins reliever Carlos Villanueva as the team's latest off-season acquisitions.
Villanueva reportedly agreed to a two year deal with Chicago after going 7-7 with the Toronto Blue Jays last season.
