(Bloomington, IN) - The eighth-ranked Indiana Hoosiers have a share of the Big Ten Conference lead after Sunday’s 75-70 win over the number-11 Michigan State Spartans at Assembly Hall.
Victor Oladipo turned in his best overall performance of the season for the Hoosiers, adding 21 points to his seven rebounds, six steals, and three blocked shots.
The Hoosiers have won three straight games since losing at home to the Wisconsin Badgers on January 25th, and share the best record in the Big Ten after the number-three Michigan Wolverines defeated the Illinois Fighting Illini Sunday night for the same conference leading record.
Former Indiana Mr. Basketball, Gary Harris, scored 21 points for Michigan State including five, 3-pointers and Branden Dawson, a native of Gary, Indiana, had 12 points and eight rebounds for the Spartans.
Christian Watford added 12 points and six rebounds and Cody Zeller finished with nine points and seven rebounds for the Hoosiers.
Michigan State falls to 17-4 overall, 6-2 in the Big Ten Conference, and host the Illinois Thursday.
Indiana is 18-2 overall, 6-1 in the conference, and travel to the Purdue Boilermakers Wednesday night.
