(Bloomington, IN) -The number-eight Indiana Hoosiers shot 58 percent from the field in the second half to beat the Penn State Nittany Lions, 72-49 at Assembly Hall in Bloomington.
Cody Zeller failed to make a basket for the first time in his college career, but came down with eight rebounds and blocked three shots while going two-for-four from the free throw line.
Victor Oladipo led the Hoosiers with 19 points and five assists and Yogi Ferrell had a season high 15 points for Indiana.
D-J Newbill had 18 points and seven rebounds for Penn State, who were limited to 33 percent shooting on the night.
The Nittany Lions are 8-11 overall, 0-7 in the Big Ten Conference, and host the number-15 Ohio State Buckeyes Saturday.
Indiana are 17-2 overall, 5-1 in the conference, and play at the conference leading Michigan State Spartans Sunday.
