(Memphis, TN) - Two of the NBA’s marquee defenses will collide for the second time this season when the Indiana Pacers visit the Memphis Grizzlies today at FedEx Forum in Memphis.
Indiana held the Grizzlies to 37 percent shooting in their 88-83 win at Bankers Life Fieldhouse on New Year's Eve, and will count on their top ranked defense in points allowed to end the team's four game losing streak in Memphis.
The Pacers are third in the conference with a 25-16 record, and have been virtually unbeatable at home this season while struggling away from Indianapolis.
Memphis are 26-13 on the season and are currently fourth in the formidable Western Conference.
The Grizzlies deploy the second best defense in points allowed and held the Chicago Bulls to 36 percent shooting in an 85-82 overtime win Saturday at United Center in Chicago.
Tipoff this afternoon is at 1:00.
