(Denver, CO) - The Indiana Pacers finish a Western Conference Road Trip tonight when they play the Denver Nuggets at Pepsi Center in Denver.
The Pacers defense has slipped from its number-one league ranking in points allowed after giving up 100 points or more in back-to-back games.
The last was a 114-110 overtime defeat against the Utah Jazz Saturday night, giving the blue and gold a 1-2 record on their current road swing.
The Nuggets, like the Pacers, are a much better team at home, posting a 17-3 record at Pepsi Center and have won eight of their last ten home games.
The Nuggets disposed of the Sacramento Kings Saturday night, netting 71 first half points in a 121-93 win over the hapless Kings.
Denver's 27-18 overall record is attributed to their quick starts and fourth best scoring offense in the NBA, but are ranked near the bottom in points allowed and struggle to close out their opponents.
The Pacers are 26-18 and tied for the fourth best record in the Eastern Conference. Tipoff is at 9:00.
