(Denver, CO) - The Indiana Pacers had a fourth quarter rally come up short in a 102-101 loss to the Denver Nuggets Monday night at Pepsi Center in Denver.
Indiana trailed by seven points entering the final quarter, and used a 13-0 run make it 99-to-97 with just minutes remaining in the game.
Andre Iguodala was fouled by Paul George with the score tied and less than a second remaining on the game clock, and made his first of two free throws to give the Nuggets a one point lead.
Iguodala intentionally missed his second free throw and time expired, preserving Denver's fourth consecutive win.
George had 23 points, 10 rebounds, and five assists and David West had 17 points and five rebounds for Indiana.
The Pacers finish their road trip with a 1-3 record and have the fifth best record in the East at 26-19.
They open a four game home stand Wednesday against the Detroit Pistons.
