(Terre Haute, IN) - The Indiana State Sycamores pulled away in the second half to beat the Missouri State Bears, 68-60 at Hulman Center in Terre Haute.
The Sycamores never surrendered the lead after Dawon Cummings' gave the team their first advantage with a 3-pointer in the opening minutes of the second half.
Justin Gant led a 57 percent shooting effort from Indiana State by going 5-7 from the field. Gant and three other players scored ten points each for the Sycamores.
The Bears drop to 5-13 overall, 3-3 in the Missouri Valley Conference, and travel to the Bradley Braves Saturday.
Indiana State is 11-6 overall, 4-2 in the conference, and host in-state rival Evansville Saturday night.
