(Chicago, IL) - The Valparaiso Crusaders maintained their one game lead over the Detroit Titans in the Horizon League with an 85-76 win over the Loyola of Illinois Ramblers at Joseph J. Gentile Center in Chicago.
The Ramblers erased a 15 point halftime deficit and tied the game at 46-46 with over 11 minutes to play in the game.
The Crusaders went on a 23-11 run to put away Loyola and win their fifth game in six tries.
Will Bogan led all scorers with 16 points and Matt Kenney and Ryan Broekhoff had 14 points each for Valparaiso.
The Crusaders are 21-7 overall, 11-3 on the league table, and play again Saturday at home against the Eastern Kentucky Colonels.
