(New Orleans, LA) - Former Colts Offensive Coordinator, Bruce Arians, was name 2012 NFL Coach of the Year after going 9-3 and guiding the team to a playoff berth as interim head coach.
Arians received 36 and-a-half out of the 50 votes possible.
Chuck Pagano, the man Arians substituted for, came in second with five and- a-half votes.
Pete Carroll of the Seattle Seahawks finished third with five votes and Leslie Fraizer of the Minnesota Vikings finished fourth with three votes.
Arians took over as head coach of the Colts in September of last year after Pagano took a leave of absence from the team to receive treatment for Leukemia, and was rewarded for his efforts when the Arizona Cardinals hired him to fill their head coaching vacancy last month.
