(Indianapolis, IN) - The number 15 Butler Bulldogs cruised to a 68-49 win over the Duquesne Dukes Tuesday night at Hinkle Fieldhouse.
The Bulldogs are now 13-1 at home after a 12 game winning streak at the Fieldhouse was snapped by the Charlotte 49rs last week.
The Butler defense held Duquesne to 37 percent shooting on the night and smothered the Dukes' into their third lowest scoring total of the season.
Rotnei Clark led all scorers with 16 points and Khyle Marshall had 14 points for the Bulldogs.
Butler is 22-5 overall, 9-3 in the conference, and have a rematch with the first place St. Louis Billikens Friday night at Hinkle Fieldhouse.
St. Louis knocked off the number-24 Virginia Commonwealth Rams Tuesday night, 76-62 at Chaifetz Arena in St. Louis.
