(South Bend, IN) - The 25th-ranked Notre Dame Fighting Irish made it four wins in five tries with a 62-41 win over the Cincinnati Bearcats at the Joyce Center in South Bend.
The Fighting Irish made their first four shots from-the-field and held the Bearcats to 28 percent shooting in the first half.
Jerian Grant led a balanced attack by Notre Dame that featured four different players scoring in double figures.
Grant finished with 13 points, Tom Knight had 12 points and Jack Cooley and Eric Atkins each had 11 for the Fighting Irish.
Cincinnati is 19-9 overall, 7-8 in the Big East Conference, and host the Connecticut Huskies Saturday.
Notre Dame is 22-6 overall, 10-5 in the Big East, and play again Saturday at the number-20 Marquette Golden Eagles.
