(Bloomington, IN) - The Indiana Hoosiers can maintain their number-one ranking and keep pace at the top of the Big Ten Conference by defeating the underdog Nebraska Cornhuskers at Assembly Hall tonight.
Nebraska pulled off a 70-69 upset over the Hoosiers last season in winning their only game against a ranked opponent in their last ten tries.
Indiana is second in the Big Ten after the number-eight Michigan State Spartans dispatched the number-five Michigan Wolverines, 75-52 last night in East Lansing.
The Spartans lead Indiana by a half game in the conference, followed by the number-19 Wisconsin Badgers, Michigan, and the number-14 Ohio State Buckeyes.
