(East Lansing, MI) - The Indiana Hoosiers are the sole leaders of the Big-Ten Conference after holding off the Michigan State Spartans, 72-68 at Breslin Center Tuesday night.
The win erases the Hoosiers 17 game losing streak in East Lansing while giving the team a one game advantage over the Spartans in the Big Ten.
Victor Oladipo provided the top-ranked Hoosiers with a three point cushion by dunking the ball at the ten second mark, and made two free throws in the closing seconds to finish off the Spartans.
Oladipo missed the entire second half of Saturday's game against Purdue with a sprained ankle and finished with 19 points, nine rebounds, and five steals.
Sophomore Cody Zeller nearly doubled his offensive production from the Hoosiers first game against Michigan State by scoring 17 points.
Both Oladipo and Zeller passed the 1000 point mark for their careers at IU during last night's win.
The Hoosiers are 23-3 overall, 12-2 in the conference, and play Tuesday at the Minnesota Golden Gophers
