Jack Cooley was limited in his touches by the Syracuse defense in settling for 10 points and 11 rebounds for Notre Dame.
The Orange are 19-3 overall, first in the Big East with a 7-2 record, and host the St. John's Red Storm this weekend.
Notre Dame is 18-5 overall, 6-4 in the conference, and host the number-12 Louisville Cardinals Saturday.
