(Indianapolis, IN) The Indiana Pacers opened the second half of the season Wednesday night by thrashing the New York Knicks 125-91 at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.
The Knicks were frustrated into three technical fouls and one flagrant foul during the 34 point loss, the second largest margin of defeat to the Pacers in the history of their rivalry.
Paul George dominated on both ends of the floor, scoring 27 points and holding Carmelo Anthony, the Knicks leading scorer, to 15 points on 7 of 21 shooting.
The Pacers opened up a 74-44 lead at intermission and went on to shoot 53 percent from the field in burying the Knicks.
David West had 18 points and nine rebounds and George Hill and Tyler Hansbrough had ten points each for Indiana.
The Pacers are 33-21 and play a home-and-home against the Detroit Pistons this weekend, starting with Friday night's game at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.
