(Green Bay, WI) - Jeff Saturday was released by the Green Bay Packers Monday, allowing the former Indianapolis Colts center to publicly begin negotiations to retire with his former team.
He is expected to sign a one day contract with the Colts after the league year ends and retire with his team of 13 seasons.
Saturday was a fixture on the offensive line during the Peyton Manning era in Indianapolis and was elected to the Pro-Bowl on six different occasions.
He signed a two year contract with Green Bay in March of 2012 and was released after one season.
