(Carbondale, IL) - The Southern Illinois Salukis went on a 17-4 run in the second half to bury the Evansville Aces, 65-56 at SIU Arena in Carbondale, Illinois.
The Salukis' finished with a 269 advantage in points from the bench to score their third win since the beginning of the new year.
Colt Ryan had 21 points for Evansville and Jeff Early had 14 points and 10 rebounds for Southern Illinois.
The Salukis are 10-15 overall, 3-11 in the Missouri Valley Conference, and play at home Saturday against the Missouri State Bears.
Evansville is 14-12 overall, 7-7 in the conference, and host the number-23 Creighton Blue Jays Saturday afternoon.
