(Indianapolis, IN) - The Indianapolis Colts added Pro-Bowl safety Laron Landry to the defensive backfield Wednesday, signing the former New York Jet to a 4-year, 24-million dollar contract.
Landry was the sixth overall pick by the Washington Redskins in 2007, and made the Pro-Bowl last season with the Jets after notching career highs in tackles and forced fumbles.
The former LSU star is considered a prolific run stopper with his six-foot, 220-pound frame, and will likely join veteran Antoine Bethea as the team's other starting safety.
