(Indianapolis, IN) - The Indianapolis Colts will reportedly add veteran quarterback Matt Hasselbeck to the roster as a backup and mentor to Pro-Bowler Andrew Luck.
According to the Indianapolis Star, Hasselbeck will sign a two-year, eight-million contract in bringing 14-years of NFL experience to the team at the quarterback position.
Hasselbeck became the all-time passing leader for the Seattle Seahawks before joining the Tennessee Titans in July of 2011.
Cassius Vaughn signed his qualifying offer with Colts Monday, allowing the fourth year defensive back to compete for a spot at backup corner.
Vaughn was named AFC Defensive Player of the Week for his performance in a week-14 matchup against the Titans last season, where he returned an interception for a touchdown and deflected three passes.
