(Bristol, TN) - In NASCAR Sprint Cup racing Sunday, Kasey Kahne sped out to a comfortable lead in the last part of the Food City 500 and scored his first career win at Bristol Motor Speedway.
Kahne finished one-point-seven seconds ahead of Kyle Busch in winning at the iconic half-mile oval and jumped seven spots to seventh in the Sprint Cup Standings.
Brad Keselowski surrendered the lead to Kahne on the final restart of the race and finished third.
Kurt Busch was fourth, Clint Bowyer fifth, and Dale Earnhardt Junior came in sixth. Jimmie Johnson finished 22nd, Danica Patrick 28th, and Tony Stewart 31st.
Keselowki took over the points lead with his finish at Bristol. Earnhardt Junior is second, followed by Johnson, Bowyer, and Greg Biffle.
The Sprint Cup season continues Sunday at Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, California.
