(Louisville, KY) - In the Women’s NCAA Tournament Tuesday, the Purdue Boilermakers postseason run came to an end against the Louisville Cardinals, losing in the Oklahoma City Regional 76-63 at the KFC YUM! Center in Louisville.
The fourth-seeded Boilermakers were eliminated in a round of 32 contest for the second consecutive season in the NCAA and were unable to recover from a 15-point halftime deficit on Louisville's home floor.
Sam Ostarello had 16 points and 12 rebounds for Purdue.
Louisville advance to the regional Semi-Finals against the top seed in the region, the defending champion Baylor Bears.
The Boilermakers end their season 25-9 overall and 10--6 in the Big Ten Conference.
