(undated) - The NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament has the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and Purdue Boilermakers on the opposite sides of the bracket but playing relatively close to home in the Midwest.
The Fighting Irish are the top-seed in their region and play Sunday against the sixteenth-seeded Tennessee-Martin Skyhawks in Iowa City.
Purdue are seeded fourth in their region and play the thirteenth-seeded Liberty Flames Sunday afternoon in Louisville.
The Boilermakers will face the defending champion Baylor Bears if they advance to the Sweet-Sixteen.
