(Indianapolis, IN) - The availability of David West is doubtful for the Pacers’ home contest tonight against the Atlanta Hawks.
Indiana's second leading points scorer will reportedly miss his fifth straight game tonight with a lower back sprain, allowing Tyler Hansbrough another opportunity at the starting power forward.
The Pacers are 43-27 on the season, 28-and-8 at Bankers Life Fieldhouse, and defeated Atlanta for the first time in three tries this season on February fifth.
The Hawks are looking for a third straight road win after a 104-99 victory at Milwaukee Sunday night.
Josh Smith leads the team in scoring with over 17 points-per game but was limited to nine points against the Pacers, with David West in the lineup, during the last meeting between the two teams.
Atlanta have the fifth best record in the Eastern Conference at 39-31 and are 17-18 on the road.
Tipoff tonight in Indianapolis is at 7:00.
