(Cincinnati, OH) - The Cincinnati Reds were outlasted by Los Angeles in their season opener Monday, dropping a 3-1 decision in 13 innings at Great American Ballpark.
Chris Iannetta hit a two run single in the top-of the thirteenth to spoil the Reds' season debut and give his American League team a win in the first interleague opener in major league history.
Ryan Ludwig dislocated his shoulder sliding into third base and will have an MRI to determine the severity.
The Reds and Angels continue their three-game series Wednesday night.
