(Chicago, IL) - In the National League Monday, the Milwaukee Brewers spoiled the Chicago Cubs home opener with a 7-4 win at Wrigley Field.
Marco Estrada allowed two runs over 7 innings pitched and hit an RBI double in the seventh inning for the Brewers.
Edwin Jackson recorded the loss in his second start in a Cubs uniform.
Welington Castillo hit a 2 run homer and Alfonso Soriano had two hits and scored 2-runs for the Cubs.
The Brewers ended a 5 game losing streak by winning at Wrigley and the Cubs fall to 2-5 after losing four straight games.
They play the second of a 3 game set tonight at 8:05.
