(Washington DC) - In the National League Wednesday, the St. Louis Cardinals tagged Steven Strasburg for 3 runs in the first inning in completing a three game sweep of the Nationals with a 4-2 win at Nationals Park.
Yadier Molina singled in two runs in the first and Carlos Beltran scored on a fielder's choice later in the inning to make it 3-0.
Strasburg fell to 1-4 after settling down to strike out seven in seven-innings pitched.
