(Chicago, IL) - In Major League Baseball Tuesday, a diving catch with 2 outs in the ninth-inning stopped a late rally by the Chicago Cubs and preserved a 4-2 win by the Texas Rangers at Wrigley Field.
Nate Schierholtz hit a 2 run double in the ninth to put the Cubs within striking distance of Texas, but the game ended when Craig Gentry made a fantastic play on Darwin Barney's line drive to centerfield with bases-loaded.
The Cubs have lost three straight games and resume their Interleague series against the Rangers tonight at 8:05.
