(Cincinnati, OH) - In the National League Monday, the Cincinnati Reds ended a 5 game slide with a 4-2 win over the Philadelphia Phillies at Great American Ballpark.
Brandon Phillips broke a 2-2 tie in the bottom of the eighth inning with a bases loaded, 2 run single that scored Derrick Robinson and Zack Cozart.
Aroldis Chapman pitched a perfect ninth for his third save of the season.
Phillips finished with 2-hits and has produced multiple hits in eight games this season.
The Reds improved to 6-7 and play Philadelphia again tonight at 7:05.
