(Cleveland, OH) - In the American League Tuesday, the New York Yankees hit five home runs in a 14-1 hammering of the Cleveland Indians at Progressive Field.
The Yankees had already built a 5-0 lead in the fourth inning when Robinson Cano hit a 2-run homer to left field, prompting manager Terry Francona to remove Indians' starter Carlos Carrasco from the game.
Cano would later drive-in Francisco Cervelli with a double in the eighth inning to up his RBI total to five on 4-hits.
The Indians are 3-5 and continue their series against the Yankees tonight at 7:05.
