Drivers will get an additional turbo boost for today's "Fast Friday" practice in transitioning to qualifying setups.
Scattered showers and thunderstorms are forecasted for the Indianapolis Motor Speedway tomorrow and could interrupt the first day of time trials.
The 97th running of the Indianapolis 500 is Sunday May 26th.
